Trash the Dress Belize

Wednesday, July 20th, 2011

Here they go!  It looks like so much fun.

Nicole and Ed surprised photographers when they jumped into the ocean just after saying I DO in Belize!  The afternoon was beautiful and their day was incredibly romantic.  Their intimate wedding was just the two of them under a beautiful palapa at the end of a pier.  Congratulations Nicole and Ed!

You’ve probably noticed the growing popularity of Trash the Dress in recent years.  Some Trash the Dress sessions are simple and romantic while others choose a unique location creating a more wild and exotic experience.   You may trash the dress and still keep the dress clean and if you’re adventurous you might want to get really creative!

Wherever you choose to trash your dress it’s guaranteed to be a thrilling and romantic experience.  You only marry once in Belize so this is the perfect opportunity to create stunning, magical and memorable destination wedding photographs.

Thank you Conch Creative Photography for capturing such beautiful memories of Nicole and Ed’s special day in Belize.  Trash the Dress is such an incredible experience and our couples always enjoy working with you.

Trash the Dress Belize

The morning after…

The Trash the Dress experience is a very special way for a bride to express herself and revel in the emotions that have led up to the big event.  Trash the Dress is not about destroying something beautiful but about creating fantastic imagery allowing the bride (and groom) to live in the moment, feeling like superstars with their own personal photographer encouraging them to liberate themselves and truly expose their inner beauty and even their wild side.

Imagine the possibilities!

It is entirely up to the bride to decide how far she wants to go – some just want to enjoy the excitement of the occasion and are thrilled to utterly destroy their wedding clothes, while many have been able to return home, with their dress, dry clean it and wear it again.  Some  bring a second dress.

.

“Keli,

Thank you so very much for everything!!! It was so much fun! I feel like everyone is family from there! We couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect. It was a truly special and memorable day and because of your hard work, we were able to have a relaxing, enjoyable time. We are truly thankful to have had you as our wedding coordinator. You rock!”

“Insight from the bride ~ my daughter will never wear this dress, styles change and her’s is far from mine. I now have some amazing shots that most women will never have and it was an amazing experience to do this photo shoot with just my husband and no one else around. a great memory for the two of us.
CONCH CREATIVE IS AMAZING! THANK YOU AGAIN FOR CAPTURING OUR SPECIAL MEMORIES THE WAY YOU DID! LOVE YOU!!!”  Sandra Matthews

Special thanks to our fantastic photographer, Conch Creative Photography, and many thanks to our cheerful and vivacious couple Sandra and Corky.    What a blast!  We are honored to be part of your special day in Belize.

Trash the Dress: After-the-Wedding Bridal Photo Session

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

Trash the dress is about capturing amazing photos without the fears you have of ruining your dress on the big day. After the wedding day a professional photographer will follow the bride and groom on an amazing photo shoot where the bride in her wedding dress can take a dip in the ocean, roll in the sand, play in the mud or climb tree’s! There really is no limit!

I can hear some of you say “that is insane! who would want to do that?”. Before you write it off completely think about the incredible and unique images you will create and the wonderful memories you will have of such a fun day. Most wedding dresses will only be worn once, boxed, dry cleaned and kept in the hope that one day your daughter will want to wear it. In all reality, how many actually wear their mothers dresses? Fashion will change so much over the next 20 years, also your daughter might be the wrong size for the dress. Rather than having the dress only have one day to shine, why not create even more memories by doing a Trash The Dress session?

The great thing is you can go as far as you like when trashing the dress. Some brides choose to only get the dress a little wet or have a few photos taken against graffiti walls, others will decide to swin in the ocean, roll in the mud or even set the dress on fire!  For those who truly can’t imagine trashing your wedding day gown, some brides bring a second and sometimes more casual dress.

Here are some of the amazing photos of Leah and Eric October 24, 2009.
